bestlaidplansuntitledThe 6:00 a.m. hour is the best part of my day. The alarm goes off at 6:45. It’s a race, then, to see who hits the bathroom first. I usually win! πŸ˜€ While his lordship is showering, I get dressed waiting for the laptop to boot up. If it’s still not ready (it’s old like me!), I will pack his majesty’s lunch.

Eventually I settle myself at the laptop and fire off a quick “good morning” to my favorite philosopher, Plato. I may have time to check out a few quick posts. Then it’s off to get breakfast for HL. This is our game plan time. Sad thing is, usually there’s nothing much to make a game plan about! Our life definitely needs an overhaul. Afterward, I walk him out to the car, bestow on him a hug and a kiss, and wave him off to his job that he hates.

Now until I started blogging on here, that was the time I power sorted the house and did laundry. As this little blog post can attest to, however, that is no longer the case. By 8:30 a.m. at the latest, I am re-situated at the laptop, pot of tea within easy reach, and the rest of my morning is usually spent chatting with the wonderful folks I’ve met on here.

So yes, I’m definitely a morning person, and I do my best “living” in a structured environment! Which means the rest of my day usually goes to pot! Until around 4:00. Then, because I DO work well under pressure, I power sort like crazy and by the time HL gets home at 5:30 he never has a clue how much time I spend on these blogs! Well, maybe he does since I never seem to shut up about them!
