This is in response to The Monday Music Medicine Show over at Fimnora Westcaw’s Quantum Hermit.
“Over the last day, or week, does a particular word from a blog title, or within the content, summon up a favorite song?”
YES! It’s actually the title of Plato’s last blog, I Need You, over at Plato’s Groove. Please do stop and have a listen because it’s an original song written by the Zen Master/Poet himself, and performed by the group Act of Congress (which is also featured in a video on the site).
And what’s the song it reminded me of? I Need You by the Beatles, sung by a young George Harrison. Enjoy your time in the Way-Back Machine!!! 😀
So funny I thought of this song immediately when I read Plato’s post. Great minds 🙂

Me, too. I was humming it before I realized what song it actually was. Was kind of a trip to have to stop and try to discern whose face I saw singing it. LOL 😀

I was wondering how many songs were written around that one theme. It is a powerfully emotional place to be in.

Yes, to just utter the words makes one totally vulnerable, doesn’t it…

One site said there were 229 of them that made it onto some chart. Some were religious. Most romantic, which is akin to the worship experience. Different genres similar content.

Wow! A second keen observation left on this blog today. You and wafflemethis got game! You reckon the religious ones leave a person feeling as vulnerable?

I will go meet them Meistro. They say its all vibrations and frequencies anyway. Put those together around certain themes and rhythms is what music be I think. You have a wonderful symphony going woman.

As the Deer… Ok, you made me tear all up, goofus. 😥 (Guess that answers my question.) That was the theme song of our women’s retreat every year. The other one that ALWAYS gets me is Here I Am Lord… I just had never thought of them in that light before.
