Ha ha! That’s really good!
I have the opposite problem. When I start writing it’s difficult to tear myself away, and I get so many ideas I can’t keep up with them. I have scraps of paper all over the place, with phrases and ideas on them, but if I don’t write my way through them immediately it’s too late, because my mind has moved on to the next subject.
I’m getting more and more that way, too. Even if I make good notes, when I look at them later I don’t remember where I was going. Seems like it’s now or never!
It’s because our brains are so full of knowledge and interesting bits of information ( or, in my case, fantasies about coffee) that there isn’t much standing space! Every new idea pushes the old one out.

LMBO! Do you remember the first time I was in your class? I was the one using the lap desk. 😀

But on the bright side, you probably have a great collection of blank journals! 😀
