This week Bridget from The Happy Quitter asks in her Knock, Knock Writing Challenge:
Look into your archive and share a post with me and all of us, that means a lot to you. Why do you like it so much and why is it special to you?
I looked through my 569 posts and came up with one little haiku that FEELS just right for this challenge. Written May 31st, it’s my life in a nutshell. It’s special to me because it doesn’t say that my journey is at a stand still. Instead it says I’m moving with the flow of the water, and who knows where that current will carry me. I can only hope that adventure awaits!
Becalmed
wind that filled my sails
ebbs to a soft, weary breath
I’m becalmed, adrift
Very nice.
Thank you so much for sharing~!

Life is hard, and then you get a Haiku… 🙂 It does speak volumes.

Yeah, a haiku solves everything! LOL I love them for short bursts of emotions. Btw, I will be home after 2:30 my time if you’re around today… I had a dream about you last night!

We were out at Q’s birthday meal, and then went for prezzies, and dessert. Won’t be home tomorrow. I know you’re gone on Sunday for Church, so maybe Monday after shopping here? Let me know 🙂 Oh dear, I’m invading your dreams!

Calen, that is just lovely. Becalmed and expecting adventure…I get that. A rather lovely place to find yourself, I reckon. Is that also your photo…so apropos?
