Ha! It’s time for Fimnora’s Monday Music Medicine Show, the trailers version, AND I have one right up front this week!!!
Fim says: So my beautiful Monday Music Medicine Show friends, if it pleases you to play, share with us: what songs you may have heard for the first time in a trailer, in a commercial, or anywhere in advertising.
I got one! I got one! And my head isn’t even hurting.
This song has been around! And these stats were from five years ago. Who knows how many more things it’s been in.
Television:
The song was used as background music in television and radio ads for the eHarmony online dating service.
The “Family Jewels” episode of Las Vegas (Season One, Episode 2)
Films
The song appears on the soundtrack albums for the following films:
The Parent Trap (1998)
Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle (2003)
Taxi (2004)
Must Love Dogs (2005)
Alles Is Liefde, a Dutch remake of Love Actually (2007)
And is featured in the following films:
While You Were Sleeping (1995)
If These Walls Could Talk 2 (2000)
A Cinderella Story (2004)
Bride Wars (2008)
The Bounty Hunter (2010)
Oh, you wanna know what it is? Why it’s This Will Be by Natalie Cole, who, sadly, just passed away on December 31. One of her greatest accomplishments was the duets she did with her dad, Nat King Cole who passed away on February 16, 1965. They were all digitally engineered. And WONDERFUL, I might add. It first hit me in While You Were Sleeping, which I LOOOOVE. Stef and I saw it the Christmas it came out on a mommy/daughter date.
I grew listening to Nat King Cole, so I like Natalie. But I truly loved the movie…While you were sleeping. But I do not really remember the song, I don’t think.

It plays right at the first and again at the end while the credits are rolling. I must say I’m surprised to hear you loved that movie. It bored Drollery to death! LOL

Didn’t see THAT one, thank God! Neither of us are into scary movies. Life scares the crap out of us enough, thank you very much! What’s your top five favorites (movies), Fishy friend?

LOL No, not so flat! You’re your usual well-rounded educator. Btw, we heard Sherlock (on Elemenatary) talking about coffee made out of elephant poop the other night. You should have seen Drollery’s ears perk up! Your poop posts make a big impression on him! LOL! 😀
