Morning! Last week’s Sandbox Writing Challenge was a surprise since most of us ended up writing some kind of poetry or prophecy. That was the first challenge that’s moved me to try that. Some of you have already gotten brave enough to tackle being really artsy. It was fun. 😀

I’d have to look back and see, but I’d guess that most of those messages had some “future” element to them. This week, however, we’re backtracking again. Roberta Allen’s book wants to know:

`
`
`
`
What are you holding onto from the past?
`
`
`
`
`

I imagine everyone of us has a laundry list of things we could put under this heading, but do some serious thinking and come up with one or two items or incidences you perpetually find yourself regretting.

The book has another review just before this chapter, but I’m wondering if it would be better to just do an overall review at the end? Thoughts?

Still, in preparation for the next part of the book there will be an extra Loosening Up exercise on Thursday, just to get your mind racing before we tackle the new section next week. As you know from the past two, they’re kind of no-brainers. Or ARE they? Hm…

As always, remember to include the link to this post on YOUR blog post. Or if your response isn’t overly long, feel free to leave it in the comment section below. And please feel free to interpret the prompt however you wish: memoirs, poems, pictures, etc.

If you would like to see the previous prompts, they’re listed in the menu at the top of the blog in The Sandbox Writing Challenge. But please feel free to just jump in wherever we are at the moment! After all, the prompts are really for YOU to get to know YOURSELF. (Posts from past prompts you wish to tackle will always be added to the current week’s challenge page.)

In the meantime, drag out your sand bucket and shovel and see what you can dig up for this challenge!
