I just wanted to take a minute and thank all of you who patiently read through all these Lenten posts. Though the challenge was meant to be just pictures, I really felt this was a way for me to begin to really think through what my beliefs, my faith has morphed into over the last 25 years. Your support and encouragement as I stumbled my way through them has helped me so much more than you’ll ever know.

YOU ARE ALL A TRUE BLESSING IN MY LIFE!!!
May you be wonderfully surprised in the coming year.
And may you find a faith that gives you hope.
God bless you all.
Cheryl/Calen~

George Bailey said that about his new sister-in-law in “It’s A Wonderful Life.” I’ve always loved it. 😀

I hope you have/had a lovely Easter and enjoy the break fro all that hard work you’ve been putting into “Reconnecting For Lent”. I know I haven’t read all of them, but that doesn’t mean I have connected – I have 🙂

I can’t believe I made such a glaring mistake. I meant to type: “. . . that doesn’t mean I haven’t connected – because I have :)” It’s amazing how easily the meaning of words alter when we type slower than our brains process our thoughts. But I guess you knew exactly what I meant to say. Keep up the great work.

🙂 I knew what you meant. Don’t fret about it. I do the same thing. Sometimes proofreading doesn’t even help!

It’s been a pleasure walking this journey with you – And thank you 🙂 Cheryl – Is that your real name ?!

Yep, that’s my RN. Although I do consider Calensariel my real name, too, as Beryl is an English version of Cheryl, and emerald (my birthstone) is also from the same family as a beryl stone which was used by Tolkien in Lord of the Rings. So my name in Quenya/Sindarin is Calen (green) sarn (stone) maiden (iel). Maiden of the Green Stone. It’s been my name for a long time now. 🙂 Thanks, Raili, for all your support and comments. {{{Raili}}}
