A to Z Challenge (2016), blogging101, Creative Writing, Journaling, Writing 101, Writing Prompts
Glutton for punishment that I am, I’ve gone and done something that may turn out to be a big mistake! I’ve signed up for the Blogging From A to Z April Challenge that starts tomorrow. I’m a virgin A-Zer, but boy do they have a LOT of folks blogging in this. 1724 last time I checked.
The deal is pretty simple. April 1st you write about something that begins with the letter A. April 2nd, B. And so on. (But never on Sunday unless that happens to be he first day of April.) How hard can it be, right? They had suggestions for categories and themes, but I thought for my first time out I’d stay in the kiddie pool. And when I had that thought, I knew what theme I wanted to use!
Kiddies = three little boys (6, 4, and 2) all scrapping and vying for mom’s attention at once = mom repeating a hundred times a day, “Don’t shout! Use your words and tell me what’s wrong. Are you unhappy? frustrated? angry?” And on and on it goes. (Though I sometimes wonder if they really know what things like “dissatisfied” mean!)
And there I had my theme for the challenge: feeling words A-Z. AND I was fortunate enough to find a couple complete lists on the internet. (see Feelings Words From A to Z) Now I just need to decide how to approach it!!!
If you’re interested in joining this challenge I believe you still have time. Just click on the A to Z Challenge badge in my side bar and it will take you right to the site. (Or click here.) I think it will be fun. And after all, I just survived 47 posts over Lent. This ought to be a piece of cake, right? RIGHT??? 😮 😮 😮

A to Z? Virtually every day? Ew, that sure sounds tough! 🙂

Not quite that. April 1 – A / April 2 – B / April 3 – C / etc. Not quite as hard as I may have made it sound. Does that make more sense? You finish up with Z on April 30.

Oh yay! That’s TWO blogging buddies I know now. Fimnora from Quantum Hermit is doing it, too. Yes, yes! Smooth sailing! (That made me giggle. I just left a comment on a friend’s sight about Windjammer cruises to Tahiti where you become part of the crew — tall ships!)

That is kinda funny =). Should be pretty fun. I’m not quite sure what I’ll have mine be on yet. You have any ideas for yours?
