HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY TO
EVERYONE IN THE US
AND HAPPY DAY DAY TO
EVERYONE EVERYWHERE ELSE!!!
We’ve been doing our annual cemetery tour to put flowers on folks’ graves. I snapped a picture in the Morgan cemetery where my in-laws are buried. It’s the prettiest old cemetery up on a hill overlooking the valley. The oldest grave we’ve found there was 1818. I love it, but it’s too far from home for us (we have our funeral junk all done and paid for). We were surprised to see we still had a bit of snow on the backside of our mountains. We live on the other side of them.
It’s also pert near too bloomin’ hilly for us to climb around on. Drollery tore the meniscus in his right knee a couple years ago putting flowers on the graves there. Yeah, that old age really is NOT in my head. It’s ALL in my joints!
(Newer part of the cemetery. Not quite as “populated” yet. It’s kind of cool the way it looks out over the valley across to the mountains.)
Hope you’re all doing something fun!
Have a good one,
