So all you sand dawgs, next week we will start a new book for the Sandbox Writing Challenge. But I wanted to post one more interim challenge before we move on. Janet Thomas over at Elixir: Creative and Reflective Writing did a post about dry times in our creative lives and how her three-year-old grand-daughter had something wonderful to teach her about playing!
At the end of her post, Janet asked a very interesting question that I thought would be fun to explore. So this week, before we jump into our new book, let’s tackle Janet’s question!
When was the last time not getting what you wanted
turned out to be a stroke of luck?
I had to really think a minute before I got this. And it was something that was right in front of my face! I’ll tell you MINE if you tell me YOURS! If you have one, that is. 😀
As always, remember to include the link to this post on YOUR blog post. Or if your response isn’t overly long, feel free to leave it in the comment section below. And please feel free to interpret the prompt however you wish: memoirs, poems, pictures, etc.
If you would like to see the previous prompts, they’re listed in the menu at the top of the blog in The Sandbox Writing Challenge. But please feel free to just jump in wherever we are at the moment! After all, the prompts are really for YOU to get to know YOURSELF. (Posts from past prompts you wish to tackle will always be added to the current week’s challenge page.)
Alrighty then you sandy thangs! Let’s see what you got! Bow-wow!
