i always find stunning
autumn leaves a distraction,
keep pressing them in books
thinking to hold onto the vision
of the glorious rally of autumn
before the pale death of winter;
but they always seem to fade
I guess some things are meant
to be only momentary pleasures
to make us stop —
“and learn to live in the moment

Hey there… Sorry I haven’t answered your email yet. Chaos is the word for the week. Back with the physical therapist now. I’ll write you this weekend. Love you!

And every Autumn every tree looks just a bit different. There’s got to be a lesson in that somewhere. 🙂

I love autumn for the colours – just wish it lasted longer. Our trees are now almost denuded of leaves but their gold, copper and russet finery was sublime while it lasted.

Interestingly, I read in a decorating magazine that those colors are the ones that increase appetite! That’s why so many people use them in their kitchens. Autumn colors always make me think of roast hot dogs and marshmallows. 😀

What colours Cheryl – but nothing gold can stay.
Strange to hear Eric playing that. Nice.

Colors? ‘Splain please? Yeah, I was surprised to find that song by Clapton, too. I quite enjoy it!
