Ok… So we took a few weeks off to do some fun stuff, now let’s back up and get serious for the next five weeks. The next section in Philip Simmons’ book Learning to Fall is about ACCEPTANCE, what it is, what it looks like, who needs it…

Simmons was in a particularly significant place to have to deal with this subject. He was dying of ALS. But acceptance is equally as important in life. What do YOU know about it? Let’s find out what you think…

Have you ever tried to change someone in your life?
How’d that work out for ya?

We may have had this experience with more than one person in our lives. Share with us, if you dare, how that played itself out. Were you successful?

As always, remember to include the link to this post on YOUR blog post. Or if your response isn’t overly long, feel free to leave it in the comment section below. And please feel free to interpret the prompt however you wish: memoirs, poems, pictures, etc.

There are a million questions one could ask about this experience, but I’ll stick with the basics. I hope you’ll share some of yours.
