Good morning and welcome to the Sandbox Writing Challenge #80. I was looking back over some of the subjects we’ve talked about since August 12, 2015, and we’ve covered a LOT of ground! Maybe it’s time to circle back to some of those earlier topics to see if any of our answers have change?
Let’s start with a pivotal one…
`
If you could pick only ONE of your dreams to come true,
what would it be and why?
`
That’s a toughie, huh? I know sometimes it’s easy to get in a place where we just don’t want to dream anymore because we lose heart that any of our dreams could ever come true. But it’s those times I think we need to remember what Gloria Steinem said:
Without dreaming, we lose the excitement of possibilities.
As always, remember to include the link to this post on YOUR blog post. Or if your response isn’t overly long, feel free to leave it in the comment section below. And remember you can interpret the prompt however you wish: memoirs, poems, pictures, etc.
So grab a nap and see what dreams may come! Then share one with us.. 😀

I’ve been very good, Calen. Please can I have two dreams come true? They’re not for me, exactly 🙂 🙂

I’m not greedy – I’ll only take two. Or maybe three; I’d like some chocolate cake, please 🙂

My new dream is to take a year off and travel with my husband and son. Highly unlikely it’ll become reality but I like to aim high 🙂

I feel that way about bowling! I have a terrible left hook so really have to compensate. 😀 THAT sounds like a wonderful, wonderful dream. Where would you go, Beth?

Don’t forget the Italian restaurant 😉 I have no idea where I’d travel to; there are so many places in the world. The big European tour will be for when I’m older with potential health issues and hospital visits, although us leaving the EU might have thrown a spanner in the works!

Here I am nearing 66, and I think I screwed up by waiting till my “golden” (ha ha) years to make some of those dreams happen. Don’t wait too long! 😉
