It’s finally here!
The Great and Powerful A to Z Challenge Theme Reveal!
`
Last year was my first experience with the A to Z Challenge. OML!!! I was so clueless… However, I girded my writing loins and tackled the complicated spectrum of emotions. The dedicated posting every day required a bit of discipline (which I generally lack!), but not one to be scared off so easily, I SURVIVED and I’m BACK!
`
This year I’ve chosen something fun: A GAME!
How old were you between 1951 and 1971? How much TV did you watch? This year I’m giving you a chance to test your memory by posting about TV shows I LOVED to watch before I got married. I’ll give you some info and you see if you can guess. But you won’t know the answer to the post until the next day. 😀 So…
`
Let’s play, shall we?
Can you
`
Name That TuneV Show
`
from my 100 words or less?
`
`
Coming April 1, 2017!
Stay tuned!!!

1954 to 1971 were my prime years of watching TV so you’re talking about my era. Love guessing games! Sounds like a fun theme at your site.

I’m being a bit slow. How does this work exactly? You write 100 words and we guess the show beginning with A, then you write a post letting us know the answer, then we move on to B??

Yep. Not really 100 words. I was just guessing. 😀

I spent hours glued to the TV when I was a kid in the Sixties (seriously, Mom glued me to the TV so I wouldn’t cause trouble), so this shoulf be fun. I’m not quite as good with stuff from this century, though…

What a resourceful mom!!! I might have to try that with my grandsons! (7, 5, 3!) LOL I’m not into TV from this century either. I seem to be able to find lots of other stuff to do with my time these days. Thanks so much for stopping by. I’ll stop by and see what you’re up to for the Challenge. 😀

I wasn’t born until 1986 so this one might be a little bit tricky for me! 😉
Good luck with the challenge.

We got our first TV in 1950. I can remember lots of black and white shows. Seems like the coronation of Queen Elizabeth was yesterday, lol. I’ll be interested to see your posts.

Name That Tune started out on the radio in 1952 and expanded to prime time TV in 1953. It ran in one incarnation or another off and on with different hosts through 1981. I’m guessing this picture may have been from the 70’s? For more information about Name That Tune stop by https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Name_That_Tune And thanks so much for visiting and taking the time to comment, Anne. 😀 See you in April!

Never heard of it! Thanks for the explanation, which might have become lost in the sands of time, if not for the “unread” comment choice just discovered on the WP phone app.

Not sure I’d do very well, being born on the last year of your span, but I’m game to try. 🙂

Love it! I was born half way through your time frame and I suck at trivia, but I’m a glutton for punishment so I’ll be back. Stop on over if you want, I’m playing along A to Z as well.
