Well I’ll be darn! I think I may have found one no one knows! 😀 Roy Thinnes headed up the series with guest appearances by all kinds of stars including Michael Rennie, William Windom, Ed Asner, and Suzanne Phleshette. Though short-lived, it really captured my imagination. It was:

The Invaders

I LOVED the opening credits. Positively creepy! (I had have a very vivid imagination!

I’m curious. Did ANYONE figure this one out?

Hm… I wonder if I can stump you again… Here we go with our next installment of the April A to Z Challenge!

`
Another short-lived series (1955-1956) based on a comic strip character and featuring a popular actor (from another series that ran from 1932-1948) whose star was no longer on the rise. The show usually found him involved in a mystery or in helping natives resist certain conniving white men. Some episodes involved teaching a moral lesson to son Skipper.

The series, however, did not move along swimmingly. It was very low budget and pieced together like a patch-work quilt. It was not renewed beyond it’s original episodes.

This may be a head-scratcher, too! What do you think? Can you…

(Btw, if you know the answer, please keep it to yourself so as not to give it away. Stick a smiley face on your comment instead. Thank you so much!)

(Just a quick note. If the title of the show is preceded with the word “The”, it will NOT be included in the name.)
