I nearly forgot it was Wednesday! Time for another silly little question! Here’s one I had to think about for a few minutes.
`
If you were to select a food that best describes your character, what food would it be?
`
My family was no help. The hubs thought Manwich Bold Spicy Sauce, and Bran suggested garlic bread. But after careful consideration I knew it had to be potatoes in any form (especially mashed!) Potatoes are so versatile and are the ultimate comfort food. I like to think that I’m down-home and comforting! 😀
Now what kind of food best describes you and why? 😉

I’m coming in a bit late with this one, but I’m cheese flan with chocolate sauce, served up by splashing it across the walls; an chaotic mix that likes to be noticed but is spread thin, and left in all the wrong places 🙂

Well, I’d have to say you nailed it pretty good from all the ways I’ve heard you describe yourself! 😀

Well, I gave this some serious thought and decided I am definitely short ribs. I am tough, but give me time, attention, and the right amount of seasoning and I will satisfy your desire for whatever. Just ask my kids.

Wild rice maybe? I’m kind of wild in my mind and sometimes clothing choice, and I’m social and diverse in my hobbies, and go good with lots of things. I don’t know if this comparison works, but I’m sticking to it.

Well as long as your rice doesn’t get STICKY I expect that’s a great comparison! 😀
(Btw, I HAVE written down some stuff for your name, but I’m having a problem translating it. I’ve sent it to a friend in Australia to give it a go. Let you know when I get an answer. Sorry it’s taking so long. I’m a bit out of practice!)

OH, a fajita, maybe: spicy and colourful, but comforting at the same time.

Spicy, colourful, AND comforting… Now I wouldn’t have thought to put those words together. Interesting interpretation, Jay!

Make me “Sweet” potatoes. No, probably not. I’m more baked beans.

Potatoes are a good choice for you. Was thinking I’d be the same, but have settled on one of cakes/desserts where you open them to find a surprise inside. Obviously just like me – full of surprises 🙂

I have to agree with you, Calen. It would be potatoes. They are delicious, versatile and down to earth. From the earth, actually. You hit the nail on the head.

What the heck is Manwich Bold Spicy Sauce? It sounds wicked 🙂 I think mine would have to be chocolate !

It’s a canned tomato-type sauce you put with ground beef to make sloppy joes. It’s a bit spicy! (Geez, I could have picked tomatoes, too. We eat them darn near every day.) Chocolate! Do we have chocolate cravings to deal with? 😀

Now that leads me to the next question – sloppy joes? I’m not sure just in what direction my brain is taking me on this one! I eat tomatoes every day too, but chocolate was just so much more enticing and exotic, I thought 🙂 Cravings? Weeeeell, if I don’t have any around, no. If I do …..a whole other story 🙂

Sloppy joes… Ground hamburger with either special sauce or mushroom soup mixed in and put on a bun — sort of like a sloppy hamburger. 😀
