Evening all! Well last week’s Sandbox Writing Challenge turned out to be rather interesting with a few of us working on two parts! Either we HAVE a lot of magic in our lives, or we NEED a lot more!
This week is a serious one again. And very touching, I think. I will be curious to see what even I come up with for this one!
`
`
If you were to give this baby something you
lacked early in life, what would it be?
`
As always, remember to include the link to this post on YOUR blog post. Or if your response isn’t overly long, feel free to leave it in the comment section below. And please feel free to interpret the prompt however you wish: memoirs, poems, pictures, etc.
If you would like to see the previous prompts, they’re listed in the menu at the top of the blog in The Sandbox Writing Challenge 2018. But please feel free to just jump in wherever we are at the moment! After all, the prompts are really for YOU to get to know YOURSELF. (Posts from past prompts you wish to tackle will always be added to the current week’s challenge page.)
This may prove to be very thought provoking. So go snuggle up with this picture and see what it says to you.

I think maybe it will be a bit late to write a post for this challengs, so I’ll give you my answer here.
I’d give the baby a quality I lacked throughout most of my life: Common sense.

Brilliant! I would never have thought of giving her/him a characteristic. That’s lovely!

I bit of common sense goes a lot further than a silver spoon 🙂

A healthier and less polluted world would be my answer this time round – including a national dentist service that refused to drill kids teeth to fill them with mercury for the sake of extra money rather than actual need for that procedure.

I hear ya. Sometimes I wonder what it’s going to be like for my grandkids…

yes we all wonder on that level it must have always been so since time began. So hopefully it will never be so bad for them as we might fear.

Quite simply, self confidence and no fears.

How about a world without fascists, global warming deniers, Trump, Brexit, violence and cruelty? A world with just love, trust, pleasantness, helpfulness and wonder.
BTW – what’s happened to Plato and Anna?

Hey, Opher… Talked to Anna on Friday. She isn’t well. Been about five weeks since she’s been on the blog. Plato has wandered off in the mist somewhere. Haven’t heard from him for months. Hope he doesn’t get lost again…

Hi Dear Calen, my computer has crashed and I won’t have a replacement until next Thursday, so I’m a bit restricted with only my little phone and my TV smart box. It’s a nice topic and I’ll see how I go 🙄
