(Seems like I’m always a day late and a dollar short getting to the blog these days. Oh well, it ought to be good practice for when his nibs retires next year! We’ll be MORE than a dollar short then!)
Last week’s Sandbox wanted to know…
What would make you feel the way this woman feels?
`
That could be so many things. But as I ran down the list of smiley miracles I’d like to see, it would be that Brandon would fall head-over-heels in love with someone to spend his life with. I’m a sucker for a fairy tale ending, and I’d love one for him after he and Mariel’s marriage didn’t work out. Though I’m happy to say that everything is pretty amiable between them now. That’s a real blessing that makes me smile, too!
(For those of you who are “musical” fans, here’s a bit of trivia for the day. The words from the song “Loneliness of Evening” (above) were recycled into a song from the letter that Emile De Becque wrote to Nellie Forbush in the movie version of “South Pacific.”)

It’s all we want for our children, isn’t it… for them to be happy and fulfilled. Successful marriage, thriving children, happy grandchildren – it’s completion

Yes. It’s like our whole life is focused in that direction. At least it felt that way for me.

My grandma used to say of very happy people, ‘She must be sitting on a feather!’
