Also today at precisely 11 AM, CUMC participated in “The Bells of Peace” with other organizations and churches around around the world. Our bell choir tolled 21 times to mark the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the armistice that ended World War 1. Also known as “The Great War,” WWI lasted from July 28, 1914 to November 11, 1918. More than 17 million people died during the war, including 10 million military dead and 7 million civilians. The total number of people dead, wounded, or missing is more than 37 million. (This is at our second service — Contemporary.)

I tried desperately to hear the Bells ringing above, I so love the Bells unfortunately, I can’t get the sound button on keyboard to work. We must Never Ever Forget all those Sacrifices made for Us All. No one ever wants War but there are times when it can’t be avoided. Here in GB it maybe sooner rather than later when we will have to protect this Country, its being handed over, you have no idea. Our little Seaside Town its been so touching to see all the Remembrance Tributes.

So what’s happening with Brexit now? And, btw, how are you feeling, Anna? Two more weeks I’ll be down to my maintenance dose of prednisone. Still wake up every morning expecting to have the double vision back… Also, btw, Twitch has been observing us humans. She has figured out that when we shower we are “cleaning” ourselves. So now she gets in the tub after one of us has showered and rolls around on the wet tub floor. Then she cleans herself. It’s so hilarious! She hasn’t quite figured out what we do on the toity, but every now and then we catch her just sitting on the pot (the lid down, of course.) She’s such a hoot! 😀 😼

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if all this madness would stop.

That would mean we’d all have to become human beings, not human doings… We need to slow down and stop and feel our own humanity before we can let anyone else be human. A lot of us have, but there are so many who have no clue… (JMO, however.)
