Shhh… Listen… What “symphony” is playing in your heart this morning?
Do you know why?
`
(Feel free to post your song in the comments section.)
`
We have a busy, busy weekend ahead of us. I’ve got to make two dishes for a Thanksgiving dinner we’re having at church for the neighborhood tonight. The grandkids are coming to rake up the leaves in the yard (which are about knee-deep now…). The dinner is at 5:00, and immediately afterward we are heading to a small church about 60 miles from here where Bran is going to be preaching tomorrow. We’re going to spend the night so we can unwind from a already crazy busy week.
And THIS is what my heart is saying: Slow down! You move too fast…

I’m a bit late with this, but here goes – the song I always hear in my heart, more a wish than anything. Paul’s version, since it’s his song.

I can’t access this. It says it has been blocked because of copyright infringement or something. But I know Paul’s version very well. I think you actually mentioned it somewhere else.

I expect I did – the same songs run through my head year after year. I still hear Joan Baez singing “We Shall Overcome” and Donovan singing “Universal Soldier” as they sang it in the late ’60s. And Ralph McTell’s “Streets of London” and Buffy St. Marie… and so on 🙂

I still have your last email to answer. 🙂 Let’s just say that for the first time in our married life we’re actually dealing with an in-law thing that has put me smack in the middle of a feud… And I’m so angry about it all. My feelings have surprised me.

Bran’s sacked out here on the couch sawin’ logs so I can’t listen to this just now. I will tomorrow. You’re the only one that got brave enough to leave a song! I’ve never heard of this one. And CONGRATS on the new career path!!! I hope your day went well yesterday. Did you go to lunch with the girls today? Sorry I didn’t get you called today. I’ve been asleep for two days. I had changed my prednisone to first thing in the morning instead of last thing at night. Now instead of my sugar being sky high in the night when I’m sleeping, it’s that way from breakfast to dinner. Once I eat breakfast, I’m out like a light. Sleep for 2-3 hours, wake up and do a bit of straightening, have lunch, and it starts all over again. Took me a whole week to figure out what was going on. Changing the dumb stuff back to where it was! Will call in the morning if you’re going to be around. Love you, too!

Oh Lordy! That is GREAT! I’m surprised I haven’t heard it on the radio here. I gotta email the video to Bran and see if he’s heard it. Thank you so much!
