I look at the list of notifications in my inbox and get overwhelmed. It’s getting longer and longer… I’ve been trying to answer things willy-nilly here and there on my phone. Been using the phone to do posts, too, but it takes forever to dictate them and then correct Siri’s mistake — might as well try to type them myself!
Hopefully when I have cataract/glaucoma surgery in January and February I will be able to get back in full swing on here. Unfortunately the meds for the MG made those two things much worse. His nibs gets so tired of me asking him to read directions for me. So last night I emailed him a picture of what it looks like through my eyes! I don’t think he’ll get annoyed with me anymore!!!

Bright lights are a real problem, too. They kind of wash everything out.

So if you haven’t heard from me for awhile, don’t give up. I’m trying to get on my Reader more often and respond to at least one post of everyone on my list of follows. Not doing too hot at that, though…

You have to have eye surgery? What next? My mum had Glaucoma in both eyes. She was in agony, but didn’t do anything about it for ages – didn’t know it was down to her eyes. She made a complete recovery after surgery.

Yep. I’ve now had cataract/glaucoma surgery on both eyes. The second eye was day before yesterday. Arn asked Dr. B. if he thought he should do the “third” eye and Dr. B. just rolled his laughed. They forgot about the ones in the back of a mom’s head!

Lol. You’d think that eye would go blind, but it gets clearer all the time – even after the kids grow up and move away. Sometimes it’s a blessing, but at other times it’s a curse 😉

Amen to that! Sometimes you just don’t want to KNOW what they’re up to!

I have friends and yoga students who have had cataracts treated and surgery for glaucoma. Without exception, they say it was worth it.

I’m working on it albeit a bit slowly. When I talked to Spiritual Dragonfly Wednesday she said I sounded better than I had in awhile. That was encouraging. 😀

By the time we finally got home from church and having breakfast with Mark and Amy (Mark’s dad is in the hospital in serious condition), I went right to bed. Didn’t get up till 6:00. I WILL, however, catch up with you this week! {{{Colleen}}}

Cataract surgery is in my future someday. I get migraines from the sun hitting the snow so for the next several months my house will be closed up like a tomb. Doesn’t help my vision any when I have to go outside or into a store with flickering lights.

Oh boy howdy do I get that, Denise! I’m just praying the insurance will pay to have both the cataracts and glaucoma surgeries done at the same time. We’re switching to Medicare January 1st. It kind of scares the beejeebers out of us…
