between
raindrops don’t fall in
clusters, gaggles, or bunches.
if you stand quite still,
and your eyesight is sharp,
you can see the spaces in between.
so i have decided that
on days when storms rage around me,
the art of life is
not to stay out of the downpour,
but to learn to live
between the raindrops…
