The Sandbox Writing Challenge (2015)

Welcome to The Sandbox Writing Challenge

This on-going challenge is from Roberta Allen’s book The Playful Way to Knowing Yourself. The germ of the idea of tackling these prompts with other people will be found in the first post below. If you are just picking up your bucket and shovels, you can then start with the loosening-up exercises and keep going.

I’ve fussed around with how best to post both a prompt and a response so that comments and pingbacks won’t be scattered all over, so beginning with the prompt posted on August 25th, my response will also be posted on that blog post. That way all comments and pingbacks will be together. It would be best to do the prompt on your own blog and then add a pingback to Impromptu Promptlings on your blog. But if what you’ve written is short, please feel free to post it as a comment. Either way we are BOUND to get to know each other better, and heaven knows what we might find out about ourselves!
