Ok, ok… I admit, I picked a really easy one this time. But I wanted to kick off the last letter of the first half of the April A to Z Challenge with everyone on a high!!! I’m ASSUMING ya’ll got it? If not, it was:
Lost in Space
`
`
The “funny” thing about this series is that it DIDN’T start out to be a comedy, but Jonathan Harris’ villain was such a hoot they had to change their expectations just a wee bit! 😀

So with today’s letter we’re at the half-way point. Let’s pick your brain a little harder with this one…
Though it only ran for 26 episodes (1 season) in 1966-67, this family of five orphaned kids on their own in uncharted territory won my heart. Filmed on location in the Grand Teton National Park near Jackson, Wyoming (one of my most favorite places to visit AND we have a free life-time pass to the park!), the scenery was as great as the story line. Befriended by a Native American named Dirty Jim, this family not only survived, but thrived.
So what say you? Can you…
(Btw, if you know the answer, please keep it to yourself so as not to give it away. Stick a smiley face on your comment instead. Thank you so much!)
`
`
(Just a quick note. If the title of the show is preceded with the word “The”, it will NOT be included in the name.)

Nope and Ill have to move forward to see. We recently saw the Lost in Space movie and were disappointed. The TV show was much better (maybe cuz we were kids.)

I didn’t even know they MADE a movie of it!!! Well that IS disappointing. But you’re right. We’re so easily impressed when we’re kids, aren’t we… Thanks so much for stopping by and commenting!

Their parents die in an accident and they go into the frontier of what is now Grand Teton National Park to survive on their own. I can understand why it was a one-season wonder. They thrived, so no real tension like trying to live on an island where everyone is trying to throw you off. 🙂

Gail, I stopped by your blog to leave a comment. I had a blog on blogger years ago and remember absolutely NOTHING about it. It has always shown me as signed in, however, so I could still post to the A to Z things. I left it that way, but I just did the unspeakable. I accidentally hit sign out instead of submit. Now I have NO idea how to get back in there. Do you have suggestions as to what I should do? This is the one thing I find frustrating about the A to Z Challenge thing…

Well this one WAS a bit more obscure unless you were a really die-hard western fan. 🙂

Come on mate, I’m finding this hard enough already! My immediate thought is a follow up to the Waltons after John Boy kills off his parents and grandparents. I apologise if I just gave it away.
Another day in Amble Bay!

This time I’m totally stumped. Those years were among my peak TV watching years too. Guess I was watching a different show than this one.

Good! The last couple were kind of easy so I hoped this one might be a bit more of a challenge. 😀

It didn’t take him long at all. I was surprised my sister and her husband, who is the trivia king, did not know it . They were in high school and had nothing else to do wuth their time, lol.

I must have missed your entry for L, because I’m sure I’d have known that one if I’d seen it. However, I once again have no clue for M, it doesn’t even sound familiar. At least you’re making everyone think! 😀

I had fun with mine as well…I think I had them all written out in a notebook in just a few days, then typed them all up in Word and saved them in a folder on my desktop, then sat back and waited for April. 😛
