Well Christmas is almost upon us so I was looking through the Self-Discovery Journal to find another fun, light prompt. This one is actually a little silly, but it DID make me think! I’ll be curious to see what ya’ll have to say about it…
`

If you were to be reborn again,
what would you like to be reborn as?
`
So let your imagination go wild! And don’t just say, “A parrot!” Tell us WHY you would like too come back as a parrot! And if you can find an illustration for your post, so much the better.. 😀
As always, remember to include the link to this post on YOUR blog post. Or if your response isn’t overly long, feel free to leave it in the comment section below. And please feel free to interpret the prompt however you wish: memoirs, poems, pictures, etc.
See ya back next week!

Love this one!! I am sorry I took a more serious route with my first attempt at this one. I will be writing a less serious example sometime in the near future.

Hey there, hon! I’m sorry I’m not getting your pieces posted on there. If you would use a link to this blog in your answer I’d be able to find them. I guess I should start including a link on the challenge? For this one it would be:
https://promptlings.wordpress.com/2016/12/20/sandbox-writing-challenge-69-what-i-want-to-be-when-i-grow-up-again/
If you just copy and paste the address to this page at the bottom of your post it will generate a pingback and then I can find you. I will start including a link. So sorry, my friend…

That’s good to know. I tend to be a ‘come and go’ kind of blog writer.

I’m on ‘blogging hiatus for the next couple of weeks but just had to tell you about the day I was asked this question at Toastmasters and had everyone rolling with laughter because I told them I’d like to come back as a pigeon. My reasons – everyone wants to be an eagle, and seagulls have to fight for their food. As a pigeon, I can have an endless supply of crumbs, roost somewhere in the city, and laugh at all the ‘suckers’ who have to go to work.

That is TOO hilarious! Are you going to write a speech about it now??? 😉

That’s easy. A princess. I don’t care about all the burdens that come with the crown….I would deal with them all….and love every moment. To live in a castle. Yes.

LOL Now that’s what I’m talking about! A gal who knows her own mind! 😉

That’s a difficult one. Probably a post-whaling blue whale. Intelligence supreme, compassionate and caring, long-living, freedom to travel, community, no enemies (post whaling), no work or chores, and time to compose music, contemplate, frolic, play, mate and enjoy ones companions and family. Sounds quite ideal. I’d probably miss reading and writing though and it might get a bit monotonous unless there was a tranquil state of mind to go with it.

Well whales are supposed to be quite tranquil and docile, aren’t they? Of course this would be after we’ve cleaned up the oceans, right? 😉
