Since I didn’t get a lot of negative responses last week to the question of continuing on with the Sandbox for a bit, we’ll keep at it through the Spring and see what happens…
It’s a new Tuesday, so we have a new prompt! We’ve been talking about our life purpose and our best selves. This week we’re going to think about balance. We talked about this WAY back at the first of the Sandbox Challenge like in August of 2015 (yes, we HAVE been doing this that long!). If you responded then and you’re curious to see if things have changed, or just curious to see what others wrote, you can go to the menu page at the top and look back at that challenge #2. In the meantime…
`
In your life, how do you find the balance
between being alone and being with others?
`
This is going to be a biggie for me with our daughter and her clan moving here TOMORROW! I will be very curious to see how or IF we can adapt to having four grandkiddos under 7 around!
As always, remember to include the link to this post on YOUR blog post. Or if your response isn’t overly long, feel free to leave it in the comment section below. And remember you can interpret the prompt however you wish: memoirs, poems, pictures, etc.

I haven’t done it yet either. It always seems to get relegated to Mondays now. 🙂

My simple, off the cuff response to finding the balance between alone time and being with others is that I get up very early in the morning and take care of me…I love the quiet and take comfort in watching the sun rise…but with that being said, with a young family and husband and work swirling around, I am rarely alone…but I can be alone to hear the quiet in my head, especially when I drive.

Jeanne, you’re amazing! I don’t know how you do it. You’re so devoted to your girls, and that job has GOT to keep you hoppin’. My hat is off to you, girl!
